Still slow, yet better than the first episode due to the fact that JC Staff seems to have heard my plea for more Eika. At least action is more or less guaranteed in the next episode from the looks of the preview. More importantly, I raise my eyebrows at the lack of fansubs even though we’re close to three episodes out already. Uh, maybe I should have added a warning about the huge gif to load in this post, but then again, what the heck would 56k users be doing in anime blogs here?

Would have inserted a joke about how Togo looked like some pervert trying to pick up a loli if I wasn’t one of those people desperately trying to argue that Otoha, Karen, and Eika are three to four years too old to be considered loli’s.

This must be low quality at work here. Pretty sure Otoha was meant to look bored here, but it looks more like some yankee pose minus the cigarette from my side.

Best part of the episode besides all the delicious shots of Eika. Since I had already given up on the episode, I was getting ready to settle with at least the typical poor man’s action scene in which Otoha handles the mugger with ease since she’s trained in kendo. That’s when they throw in that little surprise, Karen’s ichigeki hissatsu, and had me chuckle to myself. God knows what Karen had in that bag to have knocked that guy out cold.

Blushing girl has too much blushing screencaps that she needs her own section. Not that I’m complaining, of course. Karen needs to stop blushing every time before she gives some guys the wrong idea though. Oh, and how does her tails float up like that?

I laughed at the difference in each of their reactions. Reminds me of that scene in Black Lagoon where Revy and Rock walked into Balalaika editing some porn videos. One looks amused and curious, the second is too busy shying away, and the third (Eika in this case) is just indifferent to it.

Karen discovers a hidden camera, and gets Hizuki busted for taping girls in their skimpy plug suits. Funny part is that I unintentionally took the screencaps like this and noticed afterwards.

Last, but not least, did anyone get even the slightest Mai Otome vibes from this? I mean, you already have Otoha who’s hyper and enthusiastic like Arika. Karen can be Erst I guess. So, when do when do we get to see Otoha jump on Eika and find her weak spot?
