Clannad - Unofficial Translation Patch Version 0.92

Anyway, I seem to have decided to check out the game at the right time. The patch does not make a full translation as the title hints, but this much is more than enough for me. All I really needed were translations to Tomoya’s lines and thoughts anyway. In other words, all parts of the game that are not voiced through the voice patch as I am rather hopeless when it comes to reading. Surprisingly, the game is awfully long. I have been playing the whole day and haven’t made too much progress. It’s was still April 19 right before I made this post. Then again, it’s probably because I messed around with the choices since this is my first play.

If anyone is interested, I suppose people can individually ask where I got this patch. It’s just a patch someone privately (again note, this is unofficial) put together so it doesn’t feel right to let the download link float around freely without permission. Translations are all courtesy of Baka-Tsuki by the way.

P.S. Apparently there is another reason why this is still considered incomplete. Just be warned that the game can crash at certain points.

    How….much of a translation is it at this point? I mean i’d love to be able to play a route or two, even WITH the crashes, but if its only the first bit of the game…

    In either case, if you are allowed to share it, a link to download would be awesome. :)

    Hmmm, hard to say as I haven’t completed any main character routes yet. From the scenes I ran into, the parts without translation were Tomoya’s illusionary world before each chapter, and some of the choices as well.

    Anyway, I sent an email for the link. As for the crash, try to avoid Nagisa’s route for now. There is a crash when Nagisa greets you in the morning of April 23.

    I wouldn’t mind a patch like that, but I can’t get the voice patch to work, alas. Still, there’s Little Busters! to play.

    The patch should be something called SEEN.TXT.

    All you need to do is use that to replace the SEEN.TXT in the game folder. Yes, just drag and drop. Try to make a backup of the original, of course.
