Japanese Band Introduction - Trademark

It’s been a while since the last music, so time for a different kind of sound. Today’s band is Trademark, which is part of the independent music scene as you may have guessed. Information on this band is very hard to find. Generally most underground Japanese bands tend to have a Myspace these days, but exception goes to certain bands like this. I did manage to find out they’re part of a label (I assume) called Captain Haus Recording. Even then, all it shows are releases they have made. None of their artists really have individual pages too. And because of that, we are left with only the music…
I really do not know how to classify Trademark, but we say can it is either alternative or soft rock. For better words, they play easy listening music. It is one of the very soft music in my library. All the songs are lead by clear female vocals that make you wonder how this is an indie band. That is only until you hear the well-versed, slightly distorted, indie-style instrumentals backing the song. Also, don’t forget that I love just about any audible bass. Certain songs tend to have more energy while retaining the slow flow. Overall, it’s good music to relax to. Shame that most people won’t even hear about this band though. Well, maybe all the better for the few of us who do know. It’s like having a secret spot on a hill to lie on. Quite amusing, the first album is called Background Music as well.
PS. Excuse me on the sample for Hoshi no Tori. I do realize the audio somehow got messed up as it ends. That really shouldn’t interfere with the sampling though.
PPS. Another entry on the way soon. It will be a band similar to Trademark.

So much indie, so hard to find!
Trademark is one of my favourites indie bands, his music is very nice. Does anyone know how albums they have?
